Do you have pictures of this boat in the forum? I’m on the fence vs a 22’ cruiser with my current tow vehicle being a little light (Ford Expedition), but that seems priced to move fast?

Thanks!

Looks like a pretty loaded 25, it should sell fast. I would borrow a friends 1-ton truck or ensure there is no water, little fuel and nothing not screwed into the boat onboard when towing with the Expedition.

Agree that this boat should sell rapidly. That is a excellent price.

The Expedition can tow the 25, if it has the 3.73 rear end, and heavy duty towing package--"officially" it should have the weight distribution hitch also. The standard versions are rated for 6,000 lbs--the 25 is going to be more than that in most configurations. I would strongly advise electric over hydraulic brakes on the trailer, especially if any grades are going to be pulled (up or down). Our Yukon XL with heavy duty tow package is rated for 8,000 lbs. The only issue we have had, was pulling my son's 1995 Cruise Ship 25 over the grapevine, we had a transmission over heat--pulled over, and let it cool down--was fine. That was on a hot summer day, with ambient at 110*. No problems with my 25 in the East, but we do avoid high grades at time when there are high temperatures. I do monitor all engine perimeters with a Scan Gauge G.

I hear ya on the weights and hills. I go up and down 1000 feet just to get the mail, so take my tow limits pretty seriously. Would probably swap my ford for a diesel to tow a 25 just for the tongue weight increase, bigger brakes, and added buffer of passengers and gear. Nothing like multiple large cash exchanges to test out the comfort of your couch... Laughing
