Last weekend at Sucia Island I spotted the green 22' Cruiser Waxwing, and met the friendly Bellingham owners and their friend. We all were luxuriating under summer-like sunshine, a little giddy in our good fortune. What a way to start the new boating year!
And E-fishin-C, you three didn't elude the curious cat's scope. Saw you while on the trail just off Sucia's west side, maybe contemplating a run between Little Sucia. You looked to be running a gentlemanly 13 knots or so, and exhibited a kind of sleek grace not given to faster boats.

Found on the Port Townsend and Keystone (WA) ferry. Island Hopper, formerly out of the Columbia River area, and on the move now to Alaska, owner Willie and wife are on the road. Nice to see this unique 88 Classic on the way to new waters.

We met a nice young man in Bellingham last weekend who owned a green 1995 CD-22 named Rocinante. I believe his name was Jeff.
Jeff, if you read this, you may recall we were discussing plastic fuel tanks when we had to run off to catch our Uber. You might be interested in reading the current thread called "Saddle tanks or standard 23 gallon tanks". It has good information on the exact Moeller tanks I mentioned. _________________ Peter & Caryn

Woke up this morning in the middle of a "C" of SeaDorys Really. And SleepyC is right in the middle. MiddleC ?
I'm with the Delta Extravaganza #17, at "The Duck Club". We are rafted, 3 wide, and 4 front to back. What a great way to wake up.

Blue 22' Cruiser Osprey spotted at 9 a.m. today motoring slowly by Jenson Boatyard and the new park being created on the shoreline of Portage Bay below the University of Washington. Testing his new, cavernous bow storage, I suspect. |

Wow, "Kerri On". Wonder where George is now? I know he went over to the sail side>
For those up north, keep an eye out for my buddy Andy, on Osprey. He is headed north, following Johnny Hortons advice, "North to Alaska"

Running in tandem with a CD-25 Ripple, I was heading south along the east side of Whidbey Island today along the southern third when a green stripe 25 snuck up on us and passed to Port, with nary a wave, shout on VHF or a horn beep. No response on the VHF when I tried it, (16, 13, 9, 68 and 67), but their radio antenna was down, in trailering mode. No name on the boat.
Was just trying to say "Hi".

When we got back to the john Wayne Marina dock, as we were tying up we met "PLUS 3" a gray stripe 22 Cruiser. Nice to get to see Jake again. and meet Christine and family.

Spotted a very sharp 22 Cruiser in Friday Harbor today. It had Wisconsin tags, and a very nice cantilever camperback. Both my wife and I were admiring it, and hopped they owners would come back, but unfortunately they didn't. Did have either our phones or camara to take a pic. |
