Wow these 89's look as nice as the new ones. Too bad it's in California. Shipping across country would cost $5000, and I'm not sure how you sign over a title when you're not in person, certainly not by wire-transfering him money! lol! |

Portvista, that's one of the beauties of these boats, with normal care and maintenance, you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between a new boat and a 20year old boat if they where sitting next to each other in the marina AND, the new owner, and the person that has their boat for some years, would both have equally large grins
Fly & drive is an option. I've heard that U-Haul won't let you tow anything other than their trailers though...something to check out if a person was thinking of a long distance boat deal _________________ Ken

Yes you can tell the difference. The cool old ones have all the teak rails and handholds rather than the stainless. More work but more character. I have been watching this one for a couple of days. so far no bids at his 19k minimum. I'm about 30 days out from being able to write him a check for this one. kinda hoping he gets no bids and is willing to talk and wait a few weeks. If not then it wasn't meant to be and another will come along if that is what is supposed to happen. Gotta keep up with my 18' brother Byrdman and be a multiple C-Dory owner.
