Either I am slightly losing my mind, or posts are occassionally showing up as new several days after their initial appearance.
For instance, right now there is a New Today post for a 2006 C-dory named “Miss Maria.” I am almost positive this exact same post was new last week. But I see no evidence of the previous post, just this new one.
Is it me? Or is something going on?

I noted the same item. Mostly new posters--maybe someone using two names. Most duplicates are a result of not checking to see if the post went thru--or accidentally hitting post a second time as one goes back. _________________ Bob Austin

For me there seems to be a timer that prevents accidental duplicate posts. If I have finger trouble and a second duplicate post is sent I get a message that says something to the effect of a second post cannot be sent so soon.
However, it seems that it doesn't work for all people. There are a few users that end up with duplicate posts almost every time they respond to a forum. |

It seems that if you hit submit, then preview, and then submit again, you can get duplicate posts.
Also, if you hover on the edit button on your latest post, the popup says "Edit/delete this post". However, once you go into edit mode, I don't see any way to delete it. AFAIK, you can only delete the text the posting contains, but not the actual posting. |

I had the same problem, I just needed to give it another few seconds after hitting submit. |
