I was reading up on the comet dust space ship, and came across this Aerogel stuff. It is perfect for boat insulation.
The blue stuff between the flame and the matches is aerogel. You can buy a piece about the size of the one in the other picture for about $500. We should do a poll to guess whether it will be Sea Wolf Joe, DoD or Rogerbum who first figures out the cost to line a CD22 with the stuff.

Isn't it just amazing what kind of technology is out there. A person could cash in their change and buy a piece of that stuff every year and eventually have the boat insulated.
....I'll bet Cheers Bob has the recipe for that stuff stacked away in his basement somewhere
I'm tempted to give you a ration fecal matter for staying home to read about the comet dust space ship rather than going to the factory fling but I wont _________________ Ken
