Thanks for the info Colby. I have everything loaded and trailer is hooked up to the truck. I will start out in the morning and should arrive at Lee's around noon Sunday and move on to Camp Clow on Monday. If all goes as planned we should see you on Thursday or Friday.

Bill

Another GREAT time with fellow C-Brats (and a Tug nut. lol). Isle Royale is definitely a wilderness. Don't expect any coffee shops or major stores. (Or minor stores either. Two visitor centers and small gift shops with limited supplies is it.) Or even any cell service. But lots of God's great creation, Moose, Beaver, Various Water fowl, Fox, Rabbits, and other nature loving humans! And the fishing is very good. I think with those in our group, we managed to catch nearly a dozen fish. And a few more that got lucky and were not boated! I'll try to upload some photos later, if I can find or get a photo album for this thread.

Ok, here's the album. I"ll see if I can start uploading a few photos. Colby

Several of us are now at the Apostle Islands. Mystery Girl and Midnight Flyer are mostly traveling together and currently at Stockton Island. Tomorrow hope to meet up with the others that are here as well. (Dragon Fly, Obsession and Halcyon) I'll upload a few more photos from this area. Colby

Once again a great trip to Isle Royal! Everyone that had a fishing license caught at least one Lake trout. We took our last one out of the boat freezer yesterday and shared it with Hank and Pat at Camp Clow. 😋 Great spending time with everyone. Nice to meet Alain and Mary for the first time. Trust everyone made it home safe. The weather could not have been much better. Hope to see everyone at the Mississippi Gathering.

The Apostle Islands trip sounds like it’s going well. Wish we had time to join the group there but will be out on the water again next week hoping to catch some salmon.

Till next time....Tom

Having a great time in the Apostles. Tomorrow will be our last day here, as we'll head out and spend some time on a small lake where Rosanne's brothers have some lake cottages, then time to head back home and get Midnight Flyer cleaned up for it's next adventure... A few more photos on their way to this threads photo album. Colby

Many thanks!!!
Camp Clow was amazing- we felt so welcome. We so enjoyed the stories, the delicious food and Hank and Pat’s beautiful home. The dogs also had a blast!
We also had a great time exploring the Keweenaw Peninsula with Rich and Joyce on Y-Knot. Thank you for being such great guides!!

But we will try for 2019. How far is it from Detroit (we have friends there)?

Thanks!

Towing a 25 you can add another ten hours to your trip north from Detroit.
Interstate travel until you cross the Mackinaw Bridge, then mostly two lane highway for the final 250 miles to Camp Clow. We'll hope to see you in 2019.
