I have pulled my kids in all different things in different boats since they were little. I have learned that the tubes like your picture are a much easier pull than the wake boards and the skiis. Now my kids are young adults and I still pull them on their wake boards once in awhile with my Yamaha F90. I don't drive crazy like I used to but a nice pull on smooth water and not hard turns on the corners works great.
You will have no problem with your tube.
Enjoy your family with the boat! They will help you create even better memories! _________________ Writing a sea story with my C-Dory !

Should be able to water ski or wake board as well as pull any tube you want to. It make take some skill for a skier to get up on a single ski But we used to do it with 25 hp and 14 foot boats...the 90 is a lot more pulling power than that... _________________ Bob Austin

Thank you Thataway and C-Val for the replies and encouragement. I have this fear that the transom will be ripped off the back of the boat |

We pull our Grandkids on a tube all the time with a venture 23 and a 115 merc no problems Usually pull at about 15-17 mph gives the kids a good ride and not stressing engine out at 3800-4000rpm .We put 2 new cleats in the back with big backing plates so not to put apart boat have fun Jim _________________ retired 8/08 from UAL, still working pt tm

I tow with my 22 and a Honda BF90D. It's no problem. I use the tie down eyes and a bridle (one that let the two line move). I also use a booster ball tow line. It keeps the tow line out of the wake when towing a tube. The tow line will get caught in the wake because of the low height of the line when towing a tube. |
