2008 C-Dory 16' Cruiser

Hi, I just joined the group as I'm seriously considering buying a 2008 16' cruiser. In looking at the boat I notices cracks around the bases for the two seats. These cracks extend pretty well all around the bases, and in one case there is missing piece of fiberglass and it seems I can see coated wood underneath. The seem to be along the edge of the flange under the seat base.

Before I commit to the purchase, I would really appreciate some advice from you experienced C-Dory owners.
Is this something I should be concerned about? What damage might there be under the deck? Is it repairable? etc. How can I determine if there is damage? Or, should I not worry about it and go ahead with the purchase.
