Peter, I think that this is the same boat. I talked to the Ranger there who is the current owner, and he said it is the one that was written up here on the C-BRATs, and was an extensive rebuild. I didn't research it here on the site.
I could be wrong, it's happened once or twice (a day, a week, a month a year or a life time -- take your pick

Seen on HiWay 20 between Burlington on I-5 and Anacortes, East bound on 20. A 22, with a dark blue hull and a white shear strip. It was on-coming and it took me a while to recognize it as a C-Dory until ti was quite close. No name on the side.

Met George of Kerri On at Newcastle Island near Nanaimo B.C. last week. Had a good time discussing our C-Dory boating adventures!
His advice got us to Pender Harbor and back with ease! _________________

I came to the intersection of "Dog Track Road", Lillian Highway (and old Lillian Hwy), and there sitting was a big fat "Tom Cat" which turned left (West bound) on Lillian Highway.
I had flashed my lights but I don't think that Gulf Coast John recognized me or my truck. Cat O Mine's was on its trailer and headed West...Maybe for a re-application of the "Poli glow) _________________ Bob Austin

Last weekend I saw "Notayot" at the dock at John Wayne Marina. They had been out for a couple of Sea trials after posting for sale recently. It was obvious that this was not an easy decision and probably not one of the best days in those boat owners lives. It's a pretty boat, red and lots of stainless accouterments.

Not a C-Dory sighting, but a C-Brat sighting! Tim and Judy Lindsey of Lynn Marie are back in our RV park in Casa Grande. Need to catch up with him and find out what has been going on, since he wasn't here last year! _________________

A CD 22 cruising the Seattle waterfront today. No name, hull # WN 0523 NR. Stopped in front of the aquarium and the wife went out on the bow to clean the windshield. Where was her PFD? Warm and dry in a locker somewhere?

While visiting Fernandina, Florida we were tied up on the end of a T dock when a C-Dory center consul hull was going in and out. It is a 22 hull with no top, just the bottom hull to which a center consul has been added to the center of the boat. He apparently is commercial taking people for rides as he went by several times but we only talked twice. He had a CD 22 in Sitka, Alaska years ago and apparently loves them. The boat was the same accent color as my hull, green, and had the C-Dory decal. Good looking boat. I asked him how many they made and he thought less than 10.

About a week ago, there was a green stripe, 22 Cruiser set up for fishing heading towards Boise, northwest of Mt Home. I recognized the D-Dory profile over the pickup cab roof-line and got all excited. I hadn't seen a C-Dory in over a month. It was slowly creeping up behind me on the freeway (I-84) so I slowed slightly for the driver to come up and pass. I needed a better look, and as he started to slide by I started waving frantically, alternating with a thumbs up and pointing (where is Thataway's emoticon), and all of a sudden he panicked, slowed drastically and went into some search and discovery mode "Do I really want to pass this fanatic? or what is wrong with my rig?" Well I waved him up and by, smiling under a full face helmet, actually grinning from ear to ear, all to no avail. "C-Doc" passed me and went on down the freeway, the sticker in the window indicating he was a participant in the Rural Family Doc program, and had probably not ever encountered a case of C-Dory euphoria at this point in his young medical career.
Sorry Doc, but you made my day, sorry if I scared you into next years growth. ( I had been on the road, on the bike for a couple of weeks and away from my boat for over a month.)
