Re the energy part; thanks Dan. Sooner or later we will all find out the folly of "rounding up the usual suspects causing pollution" and follow the energy path to it's beginning. Excellent summary and analysis!

And especially well done considering it's source from a Suzuki Slinger from Fairbanks who takes cheap shots at broken down Honda owners and innocent bystanders:

Maybe you ought to just stick to something simple like prop selection.
