Hi guys,

I am not sure if any of you run the axiom displays. I hooked up my ray70 but can't figure out for the life of me how to hook it up to my axiom? Thoughts? Help? Bueller?

Little tidbit - I hooked up the Ray70 with a sea talk NG to NMEA 2000 cable.

Harald, What functions are you trying to get? VHF Radio. VHF, AIS, Loudhailer Output, Intercom? The Raymarine Ray70 Multifunction VHF is way newer than my Raymarine VHF. I have mine hooked to a loudhailer horn so I can use the hailer/fog function, but I don't have AIS availabile on the RayMarine radio. They didn't have it at the time I was replacing my little mini RM single function set the boat came with.

I know that Roger's Marine Electronics can do it, they did mine, but you know a bunch more about wiring than I do.

I have not used the RayMarine for a long time, but here is the manual for the Sea Talk/NMEA 2000: PDF manual

Here is a back bone diagram, and some information:
From RayMarine FAQ on backbone construction. It sounds as if you may need an adaptor. Also what else are you setting up on the NMEA 2000 backbone? At the end of any chain there has to be a terminator. The manual should cover all of that.
