My 2011 Honda 30hp on my log puller tilt is leaking down in about 4 days. The engine has about 250 hours and there is no hydraulic fluid showing around a leak. I assume there must be a seal that is leaking by in the cylinder. Has anyone had this issue and is it a repair to tackle? _________________ Ready to go with the '85 22' Classic |

There is a bypass screw on the left side of the pump(for lowering if no elect. power) make sure that is tight.
Some times a ck valve (internal) will get a piece of debris in it & not seal well. I would get the book out, drain all the oil out into a clean container & look for paint flakes or something that is not clean hyd oil. Refill with clean oil as per the manual. run it up & down a bunch & repeat, see if that wont cure it/flush it out.
Have a good one |

I’ve never heard of a “log puller tilt”, is it a particular style of tilt mechanism? _________________ "And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." - Abraham Lincoln |

Sorry for the poor wording in my post. The tilt is the engine tilt on the engine on a modified pontoon used for pulling logs out of our subdivision waterways. |
