What are peoples preferences. I currently have Navionics on my 18fter. I am buying electronics Raymarine Axiom for a new boat what do you recommend. Planning on cruising Columbia and puget sound primarily with trips out off the Oregon coast. May trailer and check out other waters too but my guess is 90% of my time will be spent here.

Thoughts?

I also just bought the Axiom. The Lighthouse map that came with it is not very good. It does not have any of the lakes. I got really confused with the different Navionics maps. If you go to the Navionics+ page you can get different regions for $149 each or you can get the entire US and Canada for $199. For only an additional 50 I could not see getting so much more. So I called Navionics. The lady I spoke with told me that all of the region data is included on the the $199 version. I then found it on ebay for $95. I got it yesterday and it does indeed have all the lakes etc. I got it from this guy.

I just pulled his listing and he says he has 2 left. It was well worth it.

Thanks - what size axiom did you get I was thinking the 12" but not sure on space. I will likely get navionics it's what I have now in my small 5"unit. I am used to it. I will call raymarine and see if I can use the navionics from my dragonfly 5" on the axiom.

I have a Raymarine E125 and choose to use the Navionics Platinum. I like it very much. The additional contours make bottom fishing better
