We're trailering down for a few days, and already have a slip reserved at City Dock.
Can't seem to find any info on Google. Does anyone know where there's a ramp that allows a few nights of trailer/truck parking? |

Google wappo cut boat ramp and decide if it's the one you're looking for.

A couple of years ago we launched at the "WO Thomas Jr. Landing" boat ramp, which is immediately next to the Rivers Edge Marina on the Ashley River. These are located where highway 526 crosses over the Ashley River. It was a good ramp and we kept the boat at the marina for 2 days to get ready for a cruise up the ICW. We saw vehicles and trailers overnight. You could call the marina to double check ramp parking, although I don't think they have any sort of control over the ramp or parking lot. From the ramp/marina it is a quick easy cruise into Charleston Harbor.

We've launched at Remleys Point Public Boat Landing. It's on the Mt Pleasant side but not far from the Ravenal Bridge. Short ride to the Battery. It's rather quite on that side of the bridge.
It had plenty of parking. If I recall correctly you could park overnight. It's back through some neighborhoods. It's tucked back away from any main road. We were there for Charleston Race Week so it was park the boat and trailer all over town. It has a small courtesy dock and is somewhat protected. It can get swells off the river. No facilities.
Be sure to get some shrimp and grits at Fleet Landing Restaurant and Bar. It's one of the few waterfront restaurants in the historical district. The grits rival my mother's and that is a high bar to clear for sure! _________________ Bob and Alicia |

There have been several launch ramps mentioned. One way to make the "right" selection is to use Active Captain. After you've signed in, go to the "Live Map", zoom into Charleston, SC and some of the blue flags will be launch sites with notes. You can then check which will suit you the best.
Please note I live on the left coast and have no ties to Charleston.
