That's only the wiper in your picture? I guess that the protrusions on the top most be part of the pantagraph. You might go to a non-articulated/straight arm. At least it'd reduce the arm height.

The SeaDog is a straight arm and the window goes right up there. Of course it's manual but the outside ought to be similar.

I can swing my center wiper left or right 90 degrees separating it from the window. This allows me to push the window all the way open; the same was true on the 22.

Jay, was that a manual powered or electric wiper? There are times I would like to have a wiper on that center window, but not a manual powered one. I'm a believer in Rain-X, liberally applied, and it has worked for years, but over time the investment in a wiper might pay off.

Harvey,

It's manual, also a heavy user of Rain-X.
I find myself more an more using the window washing formula with Rain-X added.
If it starts to fail in a squall I can just reach out and give the windows a little misting.
The automotive vareant is also great.

As for the center manual wiper, when conditions warent it's nice to have the added convenience of reaching over for a quick swipe.

A powered wiper would definitely interfere with fully opening the center window, at least from my perspective.

Ment 45 degrees not 90 on my previous post.

Ken, I'm looking at the windshield wipers in one of your pictures. I've never seen one that looked like that. What model and part number is it?

I will get back to you. I'd love to keep it but I'm taking it off if I can't figure out a way to keep it AND open the window all the way.
