I've been keeping my boat in the uncovered trailer compound at the Everett Marina. I am looking for covered space--garage, carport, barn, abandoned bingo hall--as close to Kenmore, WA, as possible. Osprey has a very high radar arch, so I'll need about 11.5 feet of clearance. I will greatly appreciate any leads or suggestions.

Thanks folks,

I would check Craigslist under the "housing" section. And then "parking".

Thats how I found storage for my old motorcycle trailer when I was living in my previous condo in Boston.

Other than that, aren't there any marina's in your area that have warehouses for winter storage? There's tons of those in Mass, but they are around $50 per foot for the winter season. I know that because I just reserved an indoor spot for my 25. Expensive but worth it IMO.

Good idea, regarding Craig's List. Thanks Jason. There are lots of marinas here with covered storage, but they're expensive.

You can look at RV storage yards. Some have covered stalls.

Dagmar's has dry storage, where they launch the boat for you. I saw a C-Dory in there. It's above the mouth of the Smohomish River.

Thanks Boris. I'm actually trying to find a place where I'll be able to work on the boat, under cover.

Andy, sometimes just cruising the neighborhood can work, depending on the area where you live. Look for a place with a shop out back or an oversize garage. One of our past Bratz kept his in space available in a warehouse his company used part of. Indoor storage is obviously the best for the boat, and also the most expensive but it is a good priority.

Andy, I went through the same search process the last few weeks with the same requirements, covered, power, access to water and ability to work on the boat.

This craigslist ad came up. I don't know if it will fit your needs but I believe it's in Kenmore or Lake Forest Park.
