Peace my brothers
Just noting today; there have been some changes to my site “Sound Dreams” or fox-trots.com”
Steada “scrapin it”; I decided, after talking to some new members there, to make it viewable to just “we Alaskan members” for now on. Always was a slow site (and that’s fine) but we just want some “privacy” for now on.
And I been wondering for the longest time; if its “right” for me to keep “advertising my sacred place for the “whole world” to see. Since this site is viewable to ‘the whole world’ and that’s good! --- It needs to be the “mother site” for the “C-D Nation”.
There is a small and private place for Alaskans, but you have to do the “MSN thing” to participate now. Have peep’ of all colors and sizes there, some without a “C-Dory” even… rofl…
Yes, I’ll be back to the mother-site (here) once and a while to! Can’t forget my roots. TTFN, Greg :p

That's a bummer, RF...I really enjoyed your photos and stories. Can't count how many people I've sent to look at your stuff.
If you change your mind, make sure and let us know. _________________

Man, that is a bummer Greg, I too often looked at your site and had to wipe off the keyboard before I was done. You take wonderful pictures! _________________ Gary Johnson

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Now I can't even live vicariously!
But I understand that you don't want everyone and their proverbial dog to find and exploit these areas.
It was nice to dream and to have seen with my eyes the beauty you have access to, if only in pictures.
I will look forward to what ever you share in the future.
Fair winds and pleasent seas my friend.
Hope to hear from you... _________________

Well that is a shame since I (and many others I suspect) will no longer be able to link to your site from our own forums when asked what these little boats can do. You have inspired many with what the determined person is capable of. Your site will be missed. Good luck to you. |

Sorry bout all the trouble lately. Wouldn't ya know it, there were peep applying, and I screwed that up somehow, and their gone-----poof** didn't mean to press the wrong damn button guys.... join again, maybe I'll get it right this time!
Got to thinkin... it might be ok afterall to let some on from here, that have appreciated and care to follow my journeys there still. We will stay a private site, to keep out "just anyone". Since most "Alaskans" these days are "relocated 48ers" there are many close ties that should be included. Just don't let on about where the Fox and his mama are heading... thems the rules
Bill- it's OK to leave-off my link from the front page. Peep will find it one way er-nother. I'm sure we'll stay small over there anyway
Ya'll remember now ----- NO BLANK PROFILES

A little help for a newbie please. How can I get to the pictures and story? Tried to join fox-trots.com and was denied. Tried to go to http://www.msnusers.com/SoundDreams/sweetnutinz.msnw and got Hmmm, We Can't Find that Page... as a reply.
Help please!

Hey there Greg
If you don't want anyone looking over your shoulder you should remove all your links to your site.
It gets agravatin to try to see what you are telling us to go see and then cannot get in.specialy when I was already a member _________________ Roger on the "SENSEI"

Many things prompted this decision to become private again, it was not all my do'n, but the site has a lot of chat that's rather personal now, I like that, a more personal site.
Some joining were by mistake "denied" (that was embarisin ) if anyone is trying to join still, I'll try not make that mistake again. The little "buttons" MSN gives a site manager are just a little too close together; the "accept all" and the "deny all" are what foiled me.
Just for the Brats, I am lookin into posting another album on the original MSN site (C-Brats) since I like to post them big pages I make, and don't want to take up room here. I did inquire about that a few times, (posting full-size pix here) and got no reply from management. In many ways, and I hate to say it, I have felt very "brushed-off" and ignored here. I just want a site back, where I don't feel like I am a nuisance to anyone, and more among friends!
I should have said in that earlier post "I'll keep stopping in here on the mother site, so y'all don't forget YOUR ROOTS" ...
I have shared plenty, be thankful it happened

First off, it's great to see the mother C-Dory site still going strong here! We are still trying to get moved from old Anchortown to a place that is still way behind times in AK, my time has been very limited this season.
In spite of all the "site and product conflicts" (personality ones too I guess) in the past... I just wanted to pop-in here and explain a little sumpin fer yas out there.
My old site that was "open" is still going on (slow though) and the dear hearts that are still applying I have denied because they are not telling me who-in-tarnation they are still! I have sent reply to their email, but the "spam filters" must be blocking them... I don't know , but if you get this post here, and it is you that keeps applying to see my old site (Sound Dreams) you must say who ya are when you apply and introduce yourself to the group! I have rules, and I like rules! we are still a very small intimate group with no room for "political correctness" and the activity level fits us well there - peaceful and slow . You may be wasting your time trying to join, but if ya want to contribute there, we welcome that too.
Now, enough of this conversation, it's embarrassing me. LOL!
Catch-up with you C-B's latter-gaiters! |
