Lift kept since new, and definitely one to see. VERY clean and ready for a new owner.

Hello Rich,

Welcome to C-brats,

FS ads are easier to take serious when they are accompanied with DETAIL/S.

As you noted from the c-brats home page, there are at least FIVE other CD25s for sale. Go ahead and list the ENGINE HOURS, optional equipment, whether you've got a trailer, which owner you are (first, second, etc.), how/who maintained the boat/engine, etc.

And, of course MORE PICS always helps distinguish your boat from 'the others.'

Note, that you cannot 'EDIT' your ad...just add more details by "posting a reply" to the existing FS post

Good luck with the sale,

dave

Thanks Everyone! We have already put around 70 hours on the boat and have found the more we use it the more we like it. I am looking into having a second swim platform added on the starboard side to mount an enclosure for the eu2000i. Has anyone tried anything similar? The goal would be to run the generator while underway to power ac/heat and to quiet the generator when at anchor.

What kind of performance are cd25 owners seeing with a 200hp engine? (cruise speed and rpm) It seems like the new Yamaha f200 would be a great match only weighing in 10lbs heavier than the Honda BF150.

We had a C Dory 25 with a 130 Honda--a bit under powered. I have run several with the 150 Honda, and it is about right. The only reasons I would go to a 200, was if I was running especially heavy, and at altitudes of 3500 on up. The C Dory 25 runs best in the 18 to 25 knot range. If you go to 30 knots the boats tend to become a bit squirrelly in handling because of the flat bottoms. Also if you run the boat at higher speeds, there will be more stress on the hull, and laminates.

If you really want speed, then get the Tom Cat 255 with twin 150's or 175's and that will get you up into the mid 30's cruising speed, and top out in the high 40's. Suzuki recommended for the 255.

The cost of a new Yamaha 200, over the trade in of a lightly used Honda 150 would not make any sense. The number of times you would go over 30 mph or even 25 mph would be few.
