Need help. In the CCFLIER pictures he installed a "vertical window" in his cabin door. Can anyone tell me where he might have purchased this unit. My door has a fixed pane in it and this window is exactly what I have been looking for, but I can't find one anywhere.

Check out this older thread on the topic. It will provide you with the info you seek.

anchorout: If you end up ordering one of these, or if a group order might be a thing, I'm also quite interested. Many times I'd like to have ventilation through the door but not have the door open. I think "our style" door went up to around 2006 sometime, so there must be plenty of folks out there with them (later they went to an all glass door, of a different style, so the sliding window would not work on those).

I have one, and it is really nice to have, to get breeze thru the boat.

The originals were by Diamond Sea Glaze.

But Peninsula Windows/Boat Windows, In WA also makes good boat windows, and I would compare prices.

You will probably have to remove your old window to give exact dimensions.

I might be interested in this conversion too. It is not a new thought, and there are several who have done it. The thread Roger listed is from 2006, so it has been a while and there may be others who are interested in this who weren't around C-Dorys back then. I will put a note on the 2006 thread that there is an update going on here.
