We did a short 5 day exploration trip complete with a little fishing, swimming, and hiking around. We had some crawfish dinner and a general good time based out of the Rogers Bar area. The boat did great and after this trip and the Broughtons trip we are going to pickup a 12v small freezer soon just to free us of the troublesome need for ice. We will only make ice with it for the double coolers.

Like that sandy beach. Looks warm too. I also checked the Broughton pix. Nice. Wondered if you towed with the dink up and the canvass out. Must work OK?

Yep we tow at 60mph and under with the dinghy on the rack and the canvas all up. That canvas is not desiged to come down and was instead designed for strength. If I had to take it all down each time, I would use the boat a lot less. We are up to 42 nights in 1.5 years and that doesn't happen without some boat process efficiency.

Thanks Greg, I wondered about how it would do. I have towed with my "Alaskan" up on the aft rack, at 60 or less. Tied on tight, it does not move. Had one of the tie down patches come off, and it still was solid as a rock.

Tied on tight is the operative phrase. Don't ask me how I know.
Oh and nice trip Greg and Cindi. _________________ Peter & Caryn
