2006 22 Cruiser, $42,700 (Eugene, OR)
I’m selling Kingfisher due to my age, 81. For me, this is a huge moment; I’ve had boats since I was eight years old. For a few years now my mind has been acting very skittish about the multiple details we work with while boating.
KINGFISHER Formaly Mervyn Floyd’s boat
HULL:
Sea Dory 22 Foot Cruiser. Model Year: 2006 (Honda Dealer & North Harbor Diesel Maintained.)
HIN#: CDO22325K5O6 (Built Nov 05)
ENGINES:
Two. Honda 40HP (347.6 & 350.1 Hrs)
3 x 11.4 x 12Aluminum Props + Spare
Racor Fuel/Water filters
2x 25 Gals Fuel tanks
Visible Fuel Levels through gas tanks.
ELECTRONICS:
Raymarine C80 GPS Chartplotter
Navionics Gold Chip for PNW
Navionics Gold Chip USA West Coast
Raymarine S300Sonar
Raymarine 2Kw Radar
Raymarine 54 DSC VHF Radio
Azimuth Fluxgate Compass
CONTROLS:
Bay Star Hydraulic Steering
Bennett Trim Tabs
2 Windshield wipers
ELECTRICAL:
30 Amp Shore Power/ Battery Charger
Shore Power cord and 120 volt cabin outlet
3 x Optima AGM 55AH Batteries NEW, Fall 2014 (one for each engine and one for the “House”)
Voltage sensitive relay switching system
GROUND TACKLE:
SL Claw Anchor with chain and 300 ft Rode
BRM-2 Stainless Anchor Roller
Lewmar Sprint 600 Windlass (not used since being rebuilt)
SAFTEY:
Fire Extinguisher 3-A 40BC (Serviced Fall 2014)
Bilge Pumps; one aft by transom & one in the cabin under the teak step by the door (switched on the electrical control panel.)
Carbon Monoxide Detector
GALLEY:
Heat/Cook: Wallas 95D 2 Burner Stove/Heater (Die sel)
Pressurized Fresh Water System Electric pump.
Ice chest in the cockpit. Secured at sea with a line around two eye bolts.
INTERIOR:
Bow V-berth w/ reading lights. The cover at the opening may be unsnapped and joined for privacy
The Port side cushioned bench changes into a table with seat at both ends. To do this the wood frame that makes it even needs to be removed. We preferred the upholstered bench to the table and enjoyed the extra storage space that the wood frame provides.
FLOOR BOARDS:
There are mahogany floorboards in the cabin and the cockpit. They’re a tight fit! There are two in the cockpit and need to be lifted from the center of the boat towards the rail. The cabin is very tight and there is one section. I stand in the V-birth opening and lift, and wiggle it towards the stern. It also requires some “fussing” with the lid to the storage found under the driver’s feet.
MISCELLANEOUS:
Stainless Grab Rails
Stainless Radar Arch
Swim Step/Ladder
Porta-Potty
6 Fenders
6 Dock Lines
Custom: Mahogany strip flooring in cockpit & cabin
Harken Cam Cleats for simple dock line handling
The two stock Lazarette covers were replaced w/ water sealed covers.
There is a weighted gunnel protection cover
The side cockpit steps have been fitted with larger teak treads.
CANVAS:
CABIN
Sunbrella Privacy covers & bug screens for cabin windows.
Bug screen for “V-birth” hatch.
COCKPIT:
Full Sunbrella Camper Back based on a Bimini top (2007) (Extends over Lazarettes) Front Zipper for easy dock access.
Plastic windows, Sunbrella Privacy covers & bug screens for cabin “windows.”
STORAGE:
“Slant-Back” Canvas Cover for short term Storage.
Full boat cover for long term storage (covers upper engines)
TRAILER:
King KRT 4000 double axle
Galvanized.
Disk brakes all 4 wheels
Spare wheel & Hub
The trailer came with low maintenance hubs.
Electric motor winch.

|

smagu,
Hi Robert, your boat looks really nice, with low hours and lots of good accessories. It's got to be a tough decision to part with such a nice boat, Wish you the best on going, and with the sale. Some one will really enjoy those twins, and they have a lot of life left.
Harvey

When I bought Kingfisher I stored her in Eugene and used her on Dexter Lake and on the Columbia River.
Since the San Juan Islands and Canada were more fun we moved her to Anacortes, WA. To make life easier we stored her at North Harbor Diesel 5 years ago and thats where she can be seen. Warren can help you; 360-299-1919 &/or 360-421-5798.

Bob,
So sorry to hear this but I guess it's a moment that comes to us all. Kathy and I hope you had as much pleasure from Kingfisher as we did. She certainly has been well looked after.
It's tempting for us to go take a look but we are now committed to too many other things.
Good luck with the sale, someone is getting a nice boat.
Best Wishes,

Sounds like a very nice deal. Too bad we're over 3000 miles away.
