Hi Adrian,

Nice list of accessories. Is the stripe on this C-dory a green? Looks like it could be or maybe black, probably my computer. Also, it looks like it may have bottom paint. Yes or no.

Thanks, Good luck with the sale.

If the boat is in good condition, that seems like a nice price.

Looks like a bargain to me! Good luck with the sale. There were several in your area who were looking for just such a boat!

Looks like a Bargain to me too, Bob!

To all: Remember what we've said about have your finances ready (cash in hand), and be ready to act?

Any added expense to bringing this into the U.S. for residents here? (Other than the ferry.)

Let's see who can scramble first! Laughing

Good Luck to all, seller and buyers! Smile

Just for general interest, someone asked me about how I would go about trying to buy this boat, and I thought some of you might be interested in the short answer I was able to give, just as a general reference. So here it is:

Hi!

What would I do?

1. If I wasn't fully familiar with the C-Dory and boats in general, I'd take a local C-Brat along that knows the score to help me evaluate the boat and negotiate a deal as well.

2. If there were any questions about the boat hull, motors, or anything else, for that matter, I'd immediately hire a highly regarded local Surveyor to give the boat the once-over professionally, and get as written report (useful in negotiating).

3. I'd arrange to take an immediate Sea Trial if the inspections proved positive and the negotiations agreeable.

4. I'd already have cash in hand or whatever it would take to sew up the deal, including any Canadian banking considerations.

If the price is very good, your negotiating room may be small, but that's OK if he price is right.

The whole point here is that the boat was a very good bargain and one has to be prepared to act quickly before someone else does. Get your friends and your money lined up and ready to go, pronto!

Hope this helps!
