Should I remove my cloth engine cover before towing the boat on the highway ?

Thank You

Hello Bill

Year ago I used to think I needed to use the boat and motor coverings when traveling.
I am no sure why. All I did is ruin the covers and the constant rubbing hurt the paint underneath.
Now I cover things up when I stop.
Your rock guards look good to protect the front of the hull.
The one place that needs protecting is the front windows on long high speed trips. I have gotten two rock chips on the port side front window.
I should listen to my own advice before I get a third rock.
