Wow how things have changed.
Did a 6 page read here to get caught up.'
Charlie: Not sure when the last time was that you touched base with Dusty, but he has had a tuff time that I know of in the last 5 months. I sure hope my buddy is up for a visit. I have a PM to him with no answer. If you do see, talk, communicate in any way with him please tell him Hey for me and thanks for his service to our country, and I love and miss him.
Looked like at first...there may have been a boat gathering for this years boat show...but that washed out.
Looks like 10 folks are signed up on the signup.. but all may be staying elsewhere.
No idea how many folks are going to the Pub, that has been fun in the past but is about 35 miles from seattle...a bit of a drive after dark and maybe a beer at my age.
Sorry I am missing this gig....and have to remember the times we have had in years past in hotel south of seattle, with big room for us to gather in, bring our pot luck (I sure enjoyed the local dishes) and a few late nights if I recall. One of the last ones was the last trip I was able to take my Mom on and she damn sure had a blast at the hotel, on the Argosy cruise...and our time afterwards up in Stanwood.
Cheers to all who are going to be there this year.

Patrick, I think you just forgot how to post images - you need to link to the URL to the image itself not the page that contains the image (e.g. right click on the image to get the image URL). Here's what you were trying to post.

Hey Roger! Many thanks and I appreciate your help. Had the right click but I guess due to failure in head space and timing, I was chasing properties gizmo rather than the URL. Now I guess I am going to jump to the other side and attempt to get info via Bill's other links. For sure looking for report on lunch with Dusty. I look forward to reports from the NW corner.

Wow! What a great time at the Taproom C-Brat Party this evening! A bit smaller group than past years, and we missed having Sam make a presentation, but great food (I'll bet you did not get as good a meal for $15 wherever you ate this evening!) and great fun meeting new friends and old! There was food left over to take home, so I nabbed some of the meatballs in marinara sauce, chicken skewers and key lime pie desserts! I saw most of the left over pizza disappear into take-out boxes as well! Fun to see everyone and really good to catch up! The best part was when we went around the tables all introducing ourselves and our boats!
P.S. to Marty - GET that bench at Snoqualmie Point Park now, while you can still enjoy it! I hope you still want the inscription "Don't just do something, sit there!" I love it! |

Great to hear a good time was had Pat. Thanks for the update. Has or did anyone see Jeff Messmer at the show? That is one fine man who has truly had a great impact on the C-Dory boats and our C-Brat family. Guess I need to flop over to the tug side of things. |

Stopped by the Ranger booth to chat with Jeff a couple times. He's looking great, and as usual - they're selling plenty of boats at the show. |

I was at the show Friday and Saturday. Enjoyed a longer visit at the Waggoner Guide exhibit. Particularly with Sam who will present Tuesday about his trip up to Alaska and back the west side of Vancouver Island. |

Got back to Sequim last night about 1130, after a long dark ride it was good to be home and hard to get up early this morning but we do what we have to.
It was really great to get to see some of the folks from the greatest yacht club anywhere for a while. Roger did a great job with the arrangements, and Pat for supplying the place and the taproom makes the best Root beer. Nice to get to see Charlie and Joe, and meet Jason and Lou (sp), catch up with Greg and Cindy, Dan and Tanya, and Pat and Patti, visit with Juan and spend some time with my good friend Marty. The good thing, we all have plans to meet again, and enjoy the water.
The food was good, and as Pat mentioned, (cold pizza for breakfast works well for me), there was plenty for a take home box. Missed a bunch of you, and a presentation, (by Sam or anyone) and it was nice to get to hear all the names and something about each of the attendants.
Thanks to all who came and apologies to those who I missed. It was fun, let's do it again.
Harvey
