If you have an Ace Line Hauler (Brutus) pot puller you might want to check out the " Hands Free" accessory
for it. url is " handsfreeprawnpuller.com " to check out
information on it as well as a video.
I'm not shilling for it, but simply ran across it and
thought it looked like it might be a point of interest to some shrimpers out there. _________________ Mark on Mighty Bite |

I have one, but did not end up using it. If anybody wants one, I would be willing to sell mine for $10 less than any other price you find. Its still new and in the box. |

I bought one last year and it is awesome! When using 5/16" leaded line, it truly is hands-free. However, when using the 1/4" poly line, it still requires a little help to prevent the line from slipping. But the help it requires is literally only pulling with your fingers. _________________ Rick & Shirley

Nice review. Maybe I should keep mine.
Anyways, if anybody needs one, send me the link to your price and subtract $10 from it and its yours. Brand new in the box. |

You ever make it out this way? if so I would take that off your hands as I am planning on having one for next shrimp season especially after seeing how well it worked on C-Dawg boat this last year |

I have the line puller add on. I like it, much easier to hold the lever down, vs keep constant tension on the system. The only downside was i had to get the softcase modified to fit the extra gear.

Is that the Bulldog from Ace, with the lever and spring that holds a wheel against the sheave?
The Hands Free one is simply a plate that creates two sheaves out of one on the Brutus line hauler. |

The item I have for sale is the one which connects to the Ace Brutus Line Puller.
Mine was purchased in May 2013 and my puller is the Brutus 40. |

I used the 'Dualer Plate' from http://handsfreeprawnpuller.com for the first time this weekend. When I first opened the box, I wasn't exactly impressed. But, installation was easy, and even as simple as the device seems, it does do exactly what it says. If my Ace Line Hauler ever fell overboard, I wouldn't hesitate adding another Dualer Plate when I replaced it. _________________ -Rod

I have the "Bulldog" attachment for the Ace Hauler. I love it. So glad Ace came out with that as it is now truely hands free.
Cheers,

Here's a link to a short video showing our modified Ace Line Hauler w/ Dualler Plate pulling a pair of Ladner 30" shrimp pots from a depth of about 450 feet last weekend.
