I want to sell my Honda 4 stroke 2 hp short shaft - $350. It hasn't been used for a while although it started on the first pull last night. _________________ There’s only one success – to be able to spend your life in your own way.

Is it a long or short shaft? And do you or anyone know which one is needed for a kicker on A CD 16 Cruiser?
Thanks

It is a 2000 short shaft with about 60-70 hours on it and hasn't been used for 5 years. Up to that time it was regularly maintained by Honda. It has been in warm, dry storage. It started last night with one pull. |

2hp would be great for a dinghy but on anything larger, I'd want at least 5hp. JMHO

Based on my experience with a 15 Montgomery and a Merc 3.3, I would say the 2hp would be slightly undersized. the 3.5 would do, but I would prefer a 4 as a best compromise.
