Hi Rob,
Sorry about that w*@]< thing. Some times it just gets in the way of life. Oh, but it does by boat gas, so I guess it is important. Sure hope we can see you on the water somewhere out here this summer.
We will miss seeing you at the FH CBGT.
Harvey

Got this in our email today as "regulars".
20% off 2+ nights at EarthBox Inn
On San Juan Island, the ebb and flow of island life leaves you so relaxed, refreshed, and rejuvenated, you just might find it unbearably hard to leave. That’s why if you plan to stay 2 nights or longer with us, you’ll save 20%. Plus you’ll receive a FREE Organic mini-facial with any Massage or Body Treatment at The Spa at Earthbox if you book at least 7 days prior to your arrival.
Valid May 1 - 22, 2014. Savings are off regular rates. Not valid with any other special. Enter the promo code STAYMAY or mention this offer when booking your stay.
We will be coming in the 19 this year and staying on the boat but for the last couple of years we stayed on shore at the EarthBox Inn. The price per night was about 200-300 per night but very nice and they have pet rooms as well. With Aven along we also took full advantage of the indoor hot tub and pool on site. Its very close to West Marine which is about a 5 minute walk up the main street from the docks.
We are not affiliated with this place at all but have stayed there during 3 visits and enjoyed each one.
Greg

The usual routine is most folks arrive noonish Friday, dinner 5:30 as a group for those who want to, West Marine hosts us at 10 Saturday morning. True potluck Saturday afternoon on the breakwater. Most are gone by noonish Sunday. |

Will there be any time to fish? Can I buy a fishing license at Friday Harbor? Any recommendations for poles, line, bait? I'm a inland fisherman so I pretty much have no clue. _________________ Jody Kidd

Several people always head out to fish. There are no rules about what to do at fh. Just do whatever floats your boat. Check with somebody like Starcraft Tom, salmon fisher, or Roger for specifics (I'm totally illiterate when it comes to fishing). |
