There is an old Japanese proverb that goes; "A man whose house is finished, dies."
I think the same thing goes for boats. |

Hey Pat, how is the composting head working out? Does your boat also have the holding tank under the cockpit, and if so, have you found a use for it? |

sweeeeet Real nice.... To be honest Pat and Patty.... That is why I stayed out all night Sat night at Blakely.... I was afraid someone would notice that my hips were getting larger with retirement as I preped for bed... They really look great and I love the shelves over head and the stuff in the cabinets too. One nice boat. Let me know how your prop works out. Tell Oscar I said Hey!

Just completed the installation of the Airhead last weekend, have not inaugurated it with solids yet...will keep folks posted, I know this is a topic of interest. The holding tank is just there holding air at the moment, have not figured out what to do, or if we wanted to devote it to more fresh water, how to do it...

Uh, Pat, um, maybe not intimately interested. A report on how it performs would be good, but step-by-step details might not be necessary.
You have done some splendid things inside that there boaterhome! Good work, and good planning.
Have you tried the trailer winch out yet? _________________ TyBoo Mike

I don't know, Tyboo, I was just kinda thinking just now that I wanted to say to Pat, I like how you worded that, Pat.
Still, it is the dinner hour. |

Looks great, Pat and Patty. Good work. Just one question. On picture 11, what's that funny looking white box with the dials in the picture? Maybe some new-fangled radar display?? _________________ El and Bill (former live-aboards)

That I believe would be the Whole-Head Hair Dryer you are referring to?

You are ever so welcome, you have plenty of time in Alaska for HoneyDo lists, no? Anyway, those are Rev-A-Shelf Three Drawer Sliding Baskets from Ovis Online. First saw them on Work Release I think, and yes, they do fit nicely on a CD22! We had them on our 22, about the third try at galley organization, these are wonderful

OK, a few more customization pix today. The under helm seat food preparation board, thanks to David on Anna Leigh, and the dinette and galley side curtains, again by Patty, inspiration from Brady and Nancy and Minnow. BTW, Dogon Dan, while you are installing the under galley slide out drawers, you might as well add the under helm seat food prep board to your HoneyDo list too, no? Link is here so you don't have to scroll all the way up to the top of the thread... |
