I'm just about to pull the trigger and buy an autopilot for Catleen (25' cruiser). She has a Raymarine c80 unit on-board that I'd like to use for course input. Any suggestions?

I've installed two Raymarine S1000 units. One in a 22 and one in a TC255. Worked well and easy to install.

Charlie.

Thanks, Charlie. I've got a 150 Honda. Do you think the system can handle the weight and torque? Btw, did you use to dock at Columbia Island by the Pentagon?

If the system will handle a Tom Cat, it will handle a 25 with a 150.

I've been in and to the Pentagon more than I like to admit and have eaten at the little takeout place both there and down at the sailing marina but never kept a boat there. Was stationed in the Pentagon '75-'77 and in the area for many years after that with the USN. Still consulting.

As for handling a single 150....EASILY! The TC had twin 115s and the CD22 had twin 45s.
