Jim, despite Charlie's jabs, I am getting better on the ocarina just about every day, we need to figure out a little repertoire for a couple of guitar - ocarina duets! |
I haven't heard from my agent, yet, Pat. |

I don't have "people"... I can have my cat contact your dog.
Negotiations are on-going. That's all I can say at this time. |

Hey Mike. As it gets closer we should hook up if things work out and make the run together. Happy New Year to you.

Yes. It sounded like a great day and should make for a good feast tonight. How was the ramp at Tsartlip. The last time I was there a few years back it was pretty rough. |

I found the Tsartlip ramp to be pretty easy. It was a good angle for launching at that tide height and I had no trouble pulling it up the ramp. The ramp is a bit rough... but it cuts off a long ride by water from Sidney if Saanich Inlet is the destination! |

Oh yeah, we are coming again and this time in style. As I write Salty is being fitted with a new entire camper back. So excited that we will be able to stay at the marina and not miss out on the social time. Yep all 3 pups will be with us as well...sign us up!

Wouldn't take more than a few nights at those Friday Harbor hotel prices to pay for the camperback! Who gets the v-berth, and who sleeps in the cockpit?
Best wishes,

As I am a bit claustrophobic I will let Craig and dogs have the V- berth. Just so you know, it was his idea to stay at the FH hotel....holy cow! I was more than ready to stay on Salty. If I can survive for a week at a time via horseback in the Montana wilderness I can surely sleep on Salty. Luxury! |

Make that another Montana couple. Laura and I plan to be there. We are not sure if we will bring Grace yet or not, we have some time restraints and may have to travel light and hotel it. There may be an issue with the hotel and our 2 dogs so the plan is for them to stay aboard Salty. Will firm things up as we get closer. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Being an artiste, I try to stay out of such things. My agent tells me that things are "nearly in place," just some details over minor things: the color of the M&Ms in the dressing room, stage accommodations, rights for the VH1 taping (apparently there is a bidding war with Austin City Limits), and re-routing the Washington State Ferry so it doesn't interfere with the performance.
I don't want to jinx things, but send me your ocarina list and I'll see what the musical arranger can do.
Best wishes,
the artist formerly known as Jim |

OK, the cat's out of the bag (not that Izzy would ever be in a bag except to get that last little bit of good stuff ), Maestro of old time Rock and Roll Jim, has agreed to be the musical accompaniment to our gourmet potluck at the Friday Harbor gathering, provided that, this year, he actually gets to eat some of that good stuff. It seems that last year the crowd was so eager to hear more of him that he only got scraps. Thanks Jim, We're working on the M&M's but the cat shaped minty ones are hard to find. _________________ Patti and Barry
