The lockset assembly on my 2006 22' CD has been troublesome for the last year or so. Can lock it and it won't unlock. Took it apart, cleaned it, worked for awhile but it locked me out! again! No name on parts. Will try to post photo. Any ideas where to get a (better) replacement. Perko lockset from West Marine is too small and leaves big gaps at mortice. Thanks in advance! John |

See this thread re: door locks. I believe your lock is probably a Mobella/Southco lock that can be found at this website. _________________ Roger on Meant to be |

Diamond Sea Glaze outside of Vancouver Canada, makes the door on your 2006 cruiser. I had to take mine apart to replace the glass in the door of my 2006 cruiser. The lockset is part of the door and you may be able to order one from Diamond Sea Glaze. I think the lockset is actually made in Scandinavia and is very high quality, not sure (from in the house) what the brand is. _________________ Patti and Barry

The lockset in our 2006 22 is made by Trioving of Norway. The keys we had copied did not work (would lock but not unlock), but when we took the original to a real locksmith, they worked great. Try to take the lockset out and bring it to a locksmith. |

If you are going to take the lockset out the trick is the two set screws deep on the side of the lock, see C-Cakes photos about new glass door. Once you get those out it is pretty straightforward, just keep track of where everything fits, there are quite a few parts. I have a picture showing all the parts in the C-Cakes album. |
