My new 1985 CD 16 Angler, at home with me for 72 hours now, has some trim tabs that look to be adjustable only with a wrench.

Has anyone seen trim tabs like the one shown in the album? They might go down about an inch, at most. Would it be of any use to keep them in place?

I don't know anything about them, but I looked at the photos and could make out "Tempo-Curtis" on them for the brand or manufacturer, in case that rings any bells with anyone (I did see that brand mentioned a bit on the web, when I Googled).

They would not do you much good for loads constantly shifting around. For a permanent loading they could be adjusted to that situation and would do some good. It doesn't take much fin movement to affect the boat.
I have a very old but very little used set of Bennitt trim tabs under my work bench. I had them on a 21' cabin boat for one summer.
Took them off before selling the boat but never used them again.
You pay the freight and they are yours.

Jack
