If you like how the boat performs now, why not use the same dia and pitch? Use the alum one as a spare.

The SS will flex slightly less, but probably can go with the same size. What is your speed at 4100, and what is the WOT RPM and speed?

stainless performs a little better
If you have a prop strike stainless may blow your bottom end
If you have a prop strike with aluminum you will loose the prop

I have a 19' angler with a BF90 Honda and run a 13.5x15 Honda aluminum prop. WOT is just a bit below 6000 RPM. This is with me 160 lb with a heavy crew about 260 lb aboard and 48 gallons of fuel. I work in rivers where 7 ft of water is deep. I usually visit the prop shop at least once a year. I am probably going to change to a composite prop. in the future. They are easier on the lower unit and cost less to repair. I am willing to give up a little performance.
What I am trying to say where you use and what you do is a big consideration in your selection.

Guy
