Here I caught myself looking at the thread title and thinking "2000 22 repowered with twins. Somebody knows what they are doing........" and a pretty good deal ..... AND THEN I saw who posted. This boat is a gem and is probably the best trained (traveled) one in the fleet. Someone is going to get a very good vessel. (Hope they never change the name.) Hug Hug

This is the famous "halcyon" lovingly used by El and Bill to wend along almost every navigable waterway in the U.S. This boat has stories to tell. The vast majority of her travels were at hull speed and she has been carefully maintained. Whoever gets her is getting a piece of C-Dory history.

Buy the boat. You're a lucky guy.

Really - drive out here, cruise for a couple of weeks in the beautiful PacNW and tow it back. Or pay a few thousand to have it delivered to you by Sharp Yacht transport. I bought my Tomcat in Baltimore and had it shipped back here.

I guess we missed the formal announcement, but it looks like Halcyon will soon be history. Things change, that's for sure, but we just wanted to say that we are certainly glad to have had the opportunity to cruise with you folks, El & Bill, on Superior a couple years back. We had a great time and generated some good memories. You are always welcome on Rainy Lake, with or without a boat in tow.

Al and Myrna -

Yes indeed - some mighty fine shared times with a great couple. So many good memories. We'll surely look for you good folks if we are trucking by your way.

I hope you have gotten over the dreary weather we shared in Tacoma.

Marjorie and I are busy working on "Vagabundo" in the driveway between spring snows. We have a lot to learn about big (to us) motors and power boats.

We continually look up helpful information on the C-Brat web site and appreciate the friendly enthusiasm and support of C-Dory owners. Thank you for documenting and sharing your many adventures on Halcyon

You failed to tell us if you have Deborah Madison's excellent "Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone".
