I've read some fish and wildlife survey info from years ago that indicated there might be some in that area. I've never seen anyone trying to catch shrimp in that area. I've also heard of shrimp in the Neah Bay area but again I've never seen anyone trying it. I've tried in the Neah Bay and I've not had any luck at all. Also note that the currents in the straits can be very fast so you'd need a lot of floatation. If you give it a try, let us know if you find any. I'm going to try a few pots in different locations at Neah Bay this year. One of these years, I'll find shrimp out there. _________________ Roger on Meant to be |

Yes. You can do well on crab out there in many spots. Near the river or creek outflows in 60' of water will work well. It's also not bad just outside the edges of the kelp beds. |
