I picked up the Marinaut #1 hull shell this morning from Townsend Bay Marine and it looks super.
I've posted new photos on our Facebook page. Here is the public LINK. _________________ Les

Hey Les
I bet you got lots of strange looks bringing an unfinished boat on the ferry ride to Whidbey! |

I actually had about 6 different folks ask me about the boat, usually prefaced by "That's a good looking boat, what is it". It was fun. |

Easiest is probably at the Deception Pass State Park docks just down the road from us. You can go to the Deception Pass Marina too but they usually want money.

Has anyone checked Les' Day 18 photos of the new Marinaut yet? Les made an unsolicited change that significantly improved upon the interior design of the helm station. He added two drawers, facing the isle, located under the helm seat, and he created a small shelf adjacent to the 12VDC outlet, that is useful for charging small electronic devices or holding small items. This has an added benefit in that having a solid side facing forward, he will be able to install a footrest for my wife, who is only 5' 2" tall. Way to go Les! We are going to love this boat.
