Finally got all the stars to line up for the continuation of our Gulf Coast Gathering series.
We have a NEW VENUE and it is a pretty nice place for a bunch of Sea Dorys and Ranger Tugs to spend a weekend !Plenty of places to tie up and spots in the local marinas too.
We have some of my musician friends lined up for Saturday Night . Ill man the omelette pans and BBQ [ and maybe my bass and guitar ]with a little help we will have a Big Big time!!
I will book some special rates for the Best Western and the Water Street Hotel and the Gibson Inn as well . Ill need to get those folks reserved asap as there is marathon [the running race kind] in town and rooms book up fast . Lets have a great time and celebrate the C Dory lifestyle in Apalachicola !!
Marc
P.S I forgot to mention we should have one or two shiny new C Dorys from Triton Marine to show and demo . We could probably even be convinced to sell one ..........

Marc, you can blame me. Too bad the timing isn't different, Bob and I could come together on THATAWAY and hold the "Change of Command" ceremony at your pier!
Have a wonderful Gathering!!

Bob you are good to go with the 40' road dory .I am excited to do this again , we have had some great fun in the past . I should have a new 25 C Dory and possibly a 23 hull built like a 22 [I know a few folks will like that] by then and you will all be able to see what the Triton boys can do .
Dave , thank you and we will look forward to seeing you here in Apalachicola .
Hope we can get some folks that want to see the boats for the first time here as well ,its been a long road to finally having them in stock again . I missed having them here . They tend to stop traffic !

Oh Man!!
You are picking on me. I'm locked into the Loopers convention starting the 24th and had planned to trailer down to Apalachicola for the seafood festival the 1st weekend in November. Your descriptions of the delights waiting me there have forced me to come that far - Now you mix up the dates. I want to do it ALL. I'll never get it right.

Well there are never any rooms availabble for Seafood Festival and we always bring 10-20 boats to the festival which makes me a salesguy/truckdriver. We think of it as our private boat show. It will be fun however and if you need a room let me know asap and Ill see if I can help.

Hey Marc,
Cindi and I plan to attend. What facilities are there at the lodge? Is there a ramp and parking? Head/shower?
I searched on it, but didn't get any hits. From your map, it looks like it is up by the fish camp.
Thanks! _________________ Jim |
