Dr Bob, as other have said,"Sorry to see this post" but also, know the time will come for all of us, and some will handle it better than others. You are, as usual, right up front and meeting the challenge head on. All the best wishes here, and anytime you are in Sequim, and need a C-Dory fix, I'll put the SleepyC into the water for you.
Glad you are still going to have water access, it sooths the soul and keeps the heart pumping. Best of wishes to you and Marie.
Harvey

Bob.....
Many many thanks for all of your telephone calls, help and direction as we went through the process of purchasing our TomCat.
So very happy that you will still be providing input on the
C-brats web site.
Rich from Passagemaker,
was on our TomCat just last night in the Pelican Marina, Elizabeth City, NC and he was talking about how great a person you are.
He expects to be in your area latter this year as he is heading south.
He said a Tom Cat is his next purchase hoping to use it in the canals of Europe!!!

Just a heads up; we are traveling with the grand children, and have ended up in one of the few areas in the Smokey Mountains without cell phone & Internet access. We will be back in Pensacola August 3rd, to answer questions & show the boat.

Hi Bob
Hope this finds you and your family well. I recently retired and would be interested in your Tom Cat if it is still for sale. Sorry to hear you are selling but happy to hear you are still involved. My email address is dkapp4@tampabay.rr.com. Look forward to hearing from you. Be well.
Regards

I have an offer which is acceptable, and a deposit on Thataway. So at this time I will take "Thataway" off the market. I want to thank those others who expressed an interest in the boat.
We have left the Smokies, and are in Ashville NC. Weather here is good. We do notice that most of the campgrounds in the Smokies had many open campsites. Down the line we will comment on Fontana Lake (South Western edge of the National park), where we were able to Kayak, and looks like a great place to explore with a C Dory.
Regards to all,
Bob Austin |
