Today we took delivery of our new 25 Cruiser. It's just beautiful! Of course we've got a full day tomorrow so we can't take it out until Sunday! Can't wait.

Congrats Neighbour...........anybody who names a great boat after a hockey shot must have some good genes........eh?

We are planning on doing the Carolina Loop with the C-brats this May.
Maybe we can rendevous at Oriental........and then together we can head to Coinjock.......onto the VA border.......come back through the swamp with the C-Brats.

We will head back to New Bern directly from Elizabeth City.

Congrats on your new boat , you'll love it. We'll definitely be sharing some of the same passages as we're just down the icw in N Myrtle , currently docked @ Anchor Marina but will soon be closing on our boats new home @ Doc Holidays. We're up your way several times during the summer maybe we can catch up with you.

My Dad bought our C Dory in April, 1987 when he retired and I went with him up to the factory to pick her up. I bought her from him when I retired in 2006. From 1987 to 2006 I spent countless hours with him on the boat fishing, Crabbing, Shrimping and I enjoyed every minute but I will never forget the special feeling my wife and I had the first time we put her in the water after we had bought her and she really belonged to us. We are wishing you a great first cruise.

Congratulations. I often cruise down to Southport - nice marina and nice town. I generally take the ditch. I live in Beaufort. Stay in touch, it's a ncie cruise up/down the ditch - we can hook up for some eats/drinks and/or or whatever.

The first shake down cruise was nice, a bit short due to our daughter's schedule, but nice. How does one deal with the front fender when underway? Back ones are easy. I imagine I could pull it up from the window, but where do you put it, since there is just no room there? I've searched a bit and didn't really find a solution (at least one that I could adapt). I hate leaving it dragging in the water (just not done)

We pull it in through the window and take it back to the cockpit and stow it there.
