My marina is not sure how to put a 9.9 honda kicker on my 2006 19' angler with a 90hp honda BF90D outboard and trim tabs. Any photos will help. Send an email and I'll send a photo of the back of the boat.. Thank you |

Here's a 19 footer (Checkpoint II) with trim tabs and a kicker, although neither motors are Hondas.

Another way you can go is with a mini jack plate bolted to the transom. It is just a fixed mount. It should give you enough kick back to clear the trim tabs. It works for me, I have a 115 Yamaha with a 9.9 Yamaha kicker. I think the dimensions of the motors are very similar. I,m sorry that I can't show you pictures but ther are shot in others albums. _________________ Chuck

Here is OG Dave's modified 16, C-Voyager, stretched to an 18 with a kicker, Swim step and the main is a 50 though. I think there are trim tabs but hard to see from this angle.

There is one pix of a Honda 90, with trim tabs, and a Honda 9.9 kicker in our photo album - Loose Nut - p 14 in the albums. The kicker has a hydraulic mount/electric start set up.
I have detail photos of the mount, and if I can figure out how to do it, I will send them to you. Wish me luck
