Port Townsend Tomcat.
Any of you seen the 25 Tomcat advertised by a broker? My fishing partner is really interested.

Dusty,
Nice to hear from you. I have seen it and mentioned it Here
Looks like a nice boat. Has the right engines, Suzi 150s. Low hours. Garmin electronics.
I mentioned to the broker that he was about $25k high and he acknowledged that but said they always start high. I don't think a person could go wrong on this one. _________________ Roger

Anyone have experience trolling in a tomcat? Cut down to one engine, or gerry rig a kicker on the sea step? Kahana (19" Angler) |

The last 2 C-Dory products that he had on that lot were priced the same way, and they were there for some time... (Serenity, Roger Sensie's 25 and a TomCat 24), that was there for a long time. Maybe he just likes to look at them and keep 'em in the yard. Have some friends who just bought a trawler from Sea Marine and it was on their lot for 2 years, until the price came down to reality.
I did peak at the TC 255 while I was there with them, and it does look nice.

Thanks gents! Appreciate the info. Probably look at her next week -- the listing doesn't state much about equipment other than the Garmin (heat, etc.), but she looks a bit over priced to me. Certainly is a good looking rig though, and worth a trip to PT.
Dusty -- so good to post here again!!! Or do anything again! |

Thanks guys! Good to be back. And Tom, I'm ready for the big flat rascals -- guess I better talk to BC and hook one of those 400# monsters. Dusty |
