In response to a couple of phone calls, here is a helpful hint to those unfamiliar with this site: You can pull up my photo album by clicking on the blue Nan-C at the bottom of the author heading in the left column of this post.

Also, the boat is available for viewing in its slip in Alameda until April 30. The boat will then be available for viewing in Iowa until sometime in July when it will be returned to Alameda.

Just put five new 8-ply tires on trailer @ $610. Boat will go to dealer next week for 200-hour service by Honda-certified mechanic.

The 200 hour maintenance/tune-up is complete. Since we have another $400+ in the boat it only makes sense to lower the price to $69.5K. Laughing
Yes, I am laughing, and yes, the new price really is $69.5K.

The boat is now empty and in its garage, and when the crappy weather improves, I will do a thorough cleaning and wax it. If there is any interest, I will post additional pictures. I will deliver the boat almost anywhere in the 48 for fuel money.

Greg,

I've said it before, if I were in the market for a bigger boat, this would be the one. Problem for me, everything is bigger and more expensive, ie tow vehicle, gas, trailer etc. It's all about timing.

I hope it sells soon. Great price, someone needs to jump on this!

The current price of this immaculate boat does not give me much room to negotiate, but I can add a few items if we can get the right price for the boat. The items that could be added could include:

* Honda 2000 -- like new, fewer than 10 hours
* Delta 22# anchor
* Breville toaster oven, very nice, expensive, see at Williams-Sonoma
* Tufted-topper for v-berth, 2 sets custom sheets, 1 set unused
* Set of 4 fenders
* Navionics card for south Florida, card for lakes and rivers
* A few very nice pots and pans

I truly believe the condition of our boat together with the price makes it better than new.

I forgot the grill. The list of what could be included at the right price includes a brand new, unused Magma Newport grill -- very nice. This grill was on the Camano we bought, and we are choosing to keep our Magma Catalina.

We would sure like to get this great boat sold to someone who will enjoy her. Several items that have been listed as included at the right price will now go with the boat no matter what the sale price is. These would essentially include everything mentioned except the Breville oven and the Honda generator. Those would remain negotiable. We have added a very, very nice porthole mirror to the boat to replace the mirror with sentimental value that we are retaining.

Hoping to hear some offers.

This boat has been sold to kbc. I will let Ken and Helen introduce themselves on the site. Nancy and I had a great time meeting them and spending time with them when we delivered the boat to them at Elephant Butte Lake in New Mexico. Thanks to Tyboo and Da Nag. The boat was sold as a result of listing it on this site. Thanks also to Peter/Jazzmaniac for his kind words. Ken did take note of them as he made the decision to buy Nan-C sight unseen. And thanks to the members who make this such a great site. Those interested in buying a C-Dory learn a lot from you and know you are a great resource for the future.

Regards to all,

Greg

Great news Greg! Thank you for the acknowledgment. Good luck in your future adventures on your new boat. And don't be a stranger. Once a Brat, always a Brat!
