I put a few parts together so I can use Salt Away when flushing the heads on my twins after we go out. I Just used a bunch of quick connectors and sections of hose from the hardware store. Cost about 75 buck including two honda flush connectors (30 each) and works great. The local master tech said I was better off using the head flush method than running the motors tilted out of the water to flush it with ears on the lower unit. If you take yours out of the water (I don't) you could use the ears for basically the same result with the motor running leveled. _________________ Greg, Cindie & Aven

Often when you buy something like salt terminator or salt away a dispenser will come with it. the dispenser is connected between the hose and the earmuffs and introduces the salt away directly into the flush water. _________________ Patti and Barry

The mixer is a nice idea, but I'm wondering if you couldn't get the engine flushed with less Salt-Away and fresh water by using a bag around the lower leg, introducing fresh water and Salt-Away, then running it for a awhile to let the water warm up and increase the solubility, then dumping the bag and repeating several times.
This should use less total Salt-Away, less fresh water, and use the heat of the engine to increase the solubility of the other components used.
Good theory, anyway! Worth the less than 2¢ you paid for it!
