Hi there,

Anybody care to share what their 19' Angler, outboard, kicker, gas, assorted gear and trailer adds up to?

Our tow vehicle can handle 2,500 pounds comfortably (with trailer brakes).

Found this on another thread;

"We did weigh our CD 19, 2008 model, Honda 90, plus Honda 8 hp kicker on a single axle trailer - unhitched - parked on the scale, gas tanks full, only life jackets and similar essential gear on board, no ice chests fishing poles or stuff like that.

Weight was # 3815."

Hmmmm...not the answer I was hoping for!

According to the factory website, the dry boat weighs approximately 1,650 lbs. With trailer, motor, and fuel the average towing weight is estimated at 3,000 lbs. Maybe someone who owns a 19' Angler could give a more exact figure. You may need a larger vehicle to pull it.

Hi we haven't gone onto a scale yet but use the published figures for boat trailer and 75 Yamaha, no kicker, 50 gallons of gas and anchors, bedding etc but not really loaded with stuff at approx, 3300-3500 lbs.
My Mazda B4000 handles it well all within published specs. Panic stops not recomended however keep space.
I think your tow vehichle will need an upgrade.

Just remember it is not so much going up to the vehicle weight capacity. Several other factors come into play, ie braking capacity. If you are climbing hills, then you will want to be below the towing capacity. Just remember if for some reason you are overloaded and have an accident the insurance just may not pay. Keep an eye on the tongue weight, if you load it too high the vehicle becomes very mushy in the rear and lane changes at speed can get kind of interesting.
