Paul-Skyline marina in Anacortes has a sling hoist. I only used it once, but they apparently have a couple deals, one where their guy does it and one where you do it.

I inquired today about the Escape Hybrid's supposed lack of any tow capability at the Ford dealer in Oxnard. According to the service manager, the transmission design is the weak link.
Patti & I are heading back up to Anacortes 11 February to check on the builder's progress (If any!). I'll check out the sling hoist deal at the Skyline Marina. Thanks for the tip.
