Does anyone have experience with this unit?
I have the Bluechart MicroSD card for Puget Sound to Port Hardy.
Problem is, when I'm on the water following a route a downloaded into the unit from My Garmin / Map Source, it wants to take me there by road, which isn't particularly useful when I'm three miles off-shore.
Thoughts? |

Actually, I do have a 76CSX that I use for backup for the Garmin 545 and the Raymarine E-80 system. I have a chip in there for the local marine areas but have never tried uploading waypoints or using it for serious navagation. It would get me in and out of somewhere but unlikely I'd ever have to depend on it alone. We do use it for Sally's Choice, my wife's Gloucester 22 sailboat because of the portability. I do like the unit.

Hit menu twice to get to icons showing tracks, routes, highway, etc....hit setup and enter...pick map and enter... then find the "lock on road" and hit "off". That should do it for you. Ron |

Thanks...
The unit is back up for a Raymarine C80 unit.
I figured it was something simple.
Thx |
