Tom, Susan & James
Congrats on your new arrival. I know you will have many years of enjoyment. It was nice to meet you three at the boat show and again at the factory. (Jake is still talking about the new friend he met in Seattle)
Hope to see you on the water soon.
Terry

Tom, if you need to borrow a name for a trailer just ask me... I think I am on my third book of trailer names and most of them are four letters and not suitable for mixed company.

The wiring issue should be a simple fix... DO you have amber turn signals? If so there is a converter that you need to get.

When I get some sleep I'll try to get you more info.
I also know a of people I can send you to that can fix you up.

Congrats! you are setting out on a whole nuther chapter in boating. I hope it becomes a new library of good times.

See you in Cathlamete! Maybe sooner?

just got back from ford and i have a few colorful words for them, all the same lenght two. The ford guy said disconnect the surge brakes. yeah that was his big idea. after going to the trailer dealer, ford, and several auto parts places i have come to the concluion that if its not in a box they dont know sh@t. so after thinking about it some heres what iam going to do.

they make a plug in harness that converts ford(mazda) from import to domcetic . coming out of the plug is 5 wires thay go into a magic box that has 4 wires coming out. why. mazda (ford ranger) has the turn signal and brake lights on different circuts. us made cars have them on the same circuit. the box takes the brakes and turn and puts them on the same wire. so i will cut off the 4 pin plug after the box and splice in a 5 way plug (to match the trailer) then run the 5th plug wire straight to the back up lights. add a roll of black tape a boobs your uncle. sounds go to me I will leave this open to commit while i go get the need material and then check again for warning alerts. ( i will also call my father. he has rigged a lot of stuff out side the box, hell out side the room)

Congrats...I knew you were hooked from the first day I talked to you at Langley! This first trip will be the most exciting, but trust me, it only gets better from there!
