Anyone know where the fuse to the rear bilge is on a 99 22' Cruiser? My rear bilge is not working. The book says the fuse is located near the batteries, rather than in the fuse panel behind the dash, but I sure can not locate it. All the fuses are good behind the dash.

Can you follow the wire from the pump to the fuse? Mine in the 16' is on the starboard wall above where the battery used to be, in a black rubber square holder, about 2"x2". It wouldn't surprise me to see the 22' in nearly the same place with a similar holder.

Most boats have the bilge pump fuse on the wire coming off the Pos terminal of the battery just about 6-8 inches away from the battery. The square ones are inside a small, rubber square pad/case with you pull apart to see the fuse. The older, cylindrical fuses are in a nylon, cylindrical case in the same spot.

Bilge pumps are direct wired to the battery so they work even when the power switches are off, so it'll be on a red wire coming directly off the battery and close to the battery in most cases.

Thanks! Found both fuses coming off of the battery switch. They are now labeled. Have a new aft bilge ordered. Ken
