Anyone know where the fuse to the rear bilge is on a 99 22' Cruiser? My rear bilge is not working. The book says the fuse is located near the batteries, rather than in the fuse panel behind the dash, but I sure can not locate it. All the fuses are good behind the dash. |

Can you follow the wire from the pump to the fuse? Mine in the 16' is on the starboard wall above where the battery used to be, in a black rubber square holder, about 2"x2". It wouldn't surprise me to see the 22' in nearly the same place with a similar holder. |

Most boats have the bilge pump fuse on the wire coming off the Pos terminal of the battery just about 6-8 inches away from the battery. The square ones are inside a small, rubber square pad/case with you pull apart to see the fuse. The older, cylindrical fuses are in a nylon, cylindrical case in the same spot.
Bilge pumps are direct wired to the battery so they work even when the power switches are off, so it'll be on a red wire coming directly off the battery and close to the battery in most cases.

Thanks! Found both fuses coming off of the battery switch. They are now labeled. Have a new aft bilge ordered. Ken |
