Also the fire sale price was the deciding factor.

Geez, Brent and Dixie - a 1 ton dually with a big camper, a 32' fifth wheel AND a big motorhome? Not to mention the Tomcat. Guess you really do need all that garage space at your new home! OTOH, it certainly looks more and more like "home" could be on the road most of the time!

Pat,
The garage isn't that big. The Lance 1030 and the Carriage 32' 5th wheel are for sale. Home will be on the sea or the road, as much as we can manage.

We finally realized we needed a break--or at least a C-Dory fix and just returned from spending the last 7 days at Lake Powell. Have I mentioned lately that I really love this boat! We had a wonderful trip--relaxing, peaceful, beautiful scenery, great weather. Just couldn't ask for more. We launched at Bullfrog marina and traveled up the lake to Forgotten Canyon.
The reflections in the water at sunrise are really incredible. The second night we traveled on up to Knowles canyon. The water was starting to get muddy in the main channel due to the runoff. The Lake was raising about 6 inches each day. The next stop was in Cedar Canyon. Brent was able to catch dinner.
Leaving there, we went all the way up to White Canyon-about 50 miles from Bullfrog. By then the water was really muddy--looked like chocolate milk--and filled with drift wood. We started working our way back down the river. We returned to Knowles for a night and then sightseeing in the canyons below Bullfrog. At the trip with the C-Brats in Sept. we really need to go up Lost Eden. What a sight.
We spent the last night in Hall's Creek Basin. The rock formations there are different than on other parts of the Lake.
There was a pair of mallard duck's that came to visit. Brent got some pretty cool pix--I realize it's not a dolphin, but it was still cool.
We love spending time at the Lake, It doesn't matter how many times you've been there, it is still breath-taking. We hope that lots of C-Brats will come to enjoy the area in Sept. Chris (Rana Verde) is a terrific tour guide and makes the trip enjoyable for everyone. The muddy water will be gone and the lake level will be up so there should be lots of good camping sites.
