Last two Winters I have left the batteries in my 22 cruiser with the
battery tender plugged in. All is well in the spring. Am I risking a problem by not pulling the batteries and storing inside? It gets cold here some nights below 0. michael |

It seldoms get down to freezing here in marysville but it does get cold. I have not put a charger on my batteries during the winter yet. Where my boat is I dont have power unless I string a power cord across the yard nad thats not a good idea. So what are my choices? will solar work for me in the winter? How do solar panels hold up to the cold? _________________ Thomas J Elliott

You’re doing the right thing, same as me. Another boating buddy leaves his in the boat all winter shrink raped at a storage lot; batteries are over 5 years old and still strong.
Our winters are 6 months long, can’t wait for sping!!!!!! _________________ Jay

It gets below zero here in Utah, that's why we are taking our batteries to Florida for the winter. _________________
